Title Senior Account Executive (SAE) – Services

Position Summary:

The SAE is responsible for selling CareMedic products and services to current and prospective customers. Create, develop, service, and maintain current and future customers for the strength and growth of CareMedic by presenting Services, is association with other Revenue Cycle Solutions. Achieve sales quotas and goals through networking and prospecting in their assigned region.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop and promote new customer sales growth through lead and relationship development within a geographic territory 
  • Responsible for cold calling prospects and utilizing current profession relationships and referrals to identify and qualify target prospects 
  • Expand existing customers within an established base through new account development and strategic initiatives 
  • Maintain customer relationships in order to retain or increase revenue for accounts 
  • Provide necessary support to customers in order to get the most value out of products and services 
  • Achieve assigned sales quota and objectives for new and existing business 
  • Develop, deliver and participant in proposal preparation and sales presentations to secure new business 
  • Ability to demonstrate revenue cycle solutions, presentations, territory plans, coordinate site visits and WebEx sessions as part of the sales process to existing and new customers 
  • Manage and drive sales funnel, sales reporting programs as well as other sales methodologies accurately on a daily basis 
  • Assist account managers and Services operations with customer service issues, provide technical and product information 
  • Utilize the sales support team during the sales cycle 
  • Knowledge of the healthcare selling process and the necessary components to build and maintain loyalty to ensure repeat and referral business 
  • Create daily, weekly, and quarterly activity work plans 
  • Responsible for assisting and training of new sales staff on CareMedic solutions, as needed 
  • Responsible for RFP/RFI completion 
  • Attend tradeshows and other healthcare relevant events 
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
The person successfully performing this role will exhibit the following competencies and/or meet the following minimum requirements: 

  • Bachelors Degree required 
  • Exemplary verbal, written, sales presentation, negotiation, closing and follow-up skills 
  • Solid understanding of healthcare industry as pertains to all revenue cycle areas 
  • Understands critical issues within the healthcare business office that initiates A/R outsourcing and technology sales opportunities 
  • Understands the needs and basic information surrounding a client assessment 
  • Working knowledge of CareMedic Systems revenue cycle solutions and services a plus 
  • Minimum of 5+ years successful healthcare revenue cycle and services channel sales experience 
  • Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding sales quota 
  • Verifiable experience exceeding large quotas ($2,000,000+) 
  • Experience in developing business relationships at the Director and C level 
  • Possess strong organizational, territory management, account assessment and relationship development 
  • Ability to identify trends and analyze problems, with the capacity of develop action plans for resolution 
  • Ability to meet deadlines and goals, and to work in a busy, multi-tasking environment 
  • Ability to be self-motivated and work independently 
  • Must be comfortable and skilled in market development, networking and cold calling prospects 
  • Must live in geographic assigned territory 
  • Willingness to travel

 SPECFIC TO SERVICES

  • Extensive knowledge of revenue cycle processes from Patient Access/registration through charge and coding processes to self pay collections 
  • Understanding of the cause and effect between revenue cycle processes and their downstream results, especially as related to denial root causes 
  • Awareness of current industry solutions and strengths and weaknesses thereof 
  • Typically requires 15 or more years of experience in healthcare. Hospital revenue cycle management experience preferred. 
  • Must have a successful track record of closing business with at least 5+ years of healthcare sales experience directly related hospital revenue cycle management consulting or outsourcing
